Teej Celebrations – 28/07/2025

Saupin’s School, Panchkula came alive with vibrant colours, folk rhythms, and joyful spirit as it celebrated the vibrant festival of Haryali Teej with great zeal and cultural grandeur. The atmosphere resonated with festivity, as both students and staff immersed themselves in the traditional charm of the occasion.

The Inter-House Dance Competition was the highlight of the event, where students set the stage ablaze with energetic performances that celebrated the rich heritage of Punjab. The campus was beautifully adorned with elements of rural Punjab — colourful Phulkaris, Chhaj, Chatis, and Madhanis — recreating a picturesque village scene.

Our little ones added a heartwarming touch to the celebration! Dressed adorably in green attire, they brought party tiffins and swayed to peppy dance numbers, giggling and enjoying with their classmates. A fun-filled kite-making activity sparked their creativity, and the colourful kites were given to them as cheerful takeaways, leaving their tiny hearts full of joy and memories.

Dr. Raminder Pal Kaur, Principal of Saupin’s School, applauded the students and staff for their spirited participation. She remarked that such festivals are not just about celebration but also about deepening cultural roots, strengthening community bonds, and spreading joy and unity across generations.
