“India is not just a country, it’s a symphony of cultures, a mosaic of traditions.”
Saupin’s School, Panchkula, marked the 79th Independence Day with immense zeal and patriotism. The entire school building was adorned with tricolour flags, creating a vibrant and patriotic atmosphere.
The event commenced with the hoisting of the tricolour, followed by the singing of the national anthem. The day began with the youngest members of the school, the pre-primary students, dressed in vibrant tricolour attire along with tricolour party tiffins, who danced on patriotic melodies to win the competition among their wing. The celebrations continued with a House Meeting where various activities were organised to engage students from different classes. Slogan writing was held for the students of Classes 1 to 5, where they expressed their love for the nation through powerful messages.
For the students of Classes 6 to 9, Poem writing was conducted, where they expressed their love for the Nation with their writings.
The patriotic short plays added the spirit of the day, where students of all four houses paid tribute to the brave men and women who fought tirelessly for our freedom on the topics Rani Lakshmi Bai, Shaheed Udham Singh, Operation Sindoor and Vibrant Traditions.
Dr. Raminder Pal Kaur, the esteemed Principal of Saupin’s School, addressed the gathering, “Let us remember the sacrifices of our freedom fighters and honour their legacy by working towards a brighter future for our nation”.
