Saupin’s School, Panchkula, celebrated the divine festival of Janmashtami with great fervour and enthusiasm, highlighting the unique bond between children and the Almighty.
The students embraced the spirit of the occasion by dressing up as Lord Krishna and Radha, complete with traditional flutes, peacock feathers, and matkas, adding a touch of authenticity to the celebration. The school premises were adorned beautifully, enhancing the festive atmosphere.
The Pre-Primary teachers brought the story of Krishna’s birth to life through a captivating enactment, leaving the young audience both entertained and educated. The little ones were also given colouring sheets to engage their creativity, along with takeaways as a memento of the day.
Students from other classes joined in the celebration by presenting cultural performances, showcasing their talent and enthusiasm for the festival.
The Principal, Dr. Raminder Pal Kaur, addressed the gathering, emphasizing the importance of the life lessons that can be learned from Lord Krishna. She highlighted the significance of devotion, obedience, and respect towards parents and teachers, which are integral to the teachings of Krishna.
