Students of Saupin’s School, Panchkula were given a warm welcome with a raft of spirited activities to celebrate the harvest festival of Baisakhi. The pre-primary wing of Saupin’s School bedazzled everyone when they danced to popular Punjabi songs and spoke about the significance of this colourful festival. They looked adorable in their traditional Punjabi attire. The whole school celebrated this colourful festival with various performances, including colouring of sheets, zippy bhangra and gidda inter-house dance performances. Clover House secured first position in the Inter House Dance Competition. Students relished their break time with yummy party tiffins. The indispensable features of this festival were depicted in all the events. The school was decorated with cut-outs of farmers enjoying their fields, fulkaris and colourful dupattas.
The Principal, Dr. Raminder Pal Kaur extended warm wishes to students and staff on this pious occasion and lauded the efforts made by students and teachers.
