Sparkling Diwali Celebrations @ Saupin's School, Sector 9, Panchkula
Festival of lights, Diwali signifies the time to destroy all our dark desires and thoughts, eradicates dark shadows and evils and gives us the strength and the zeal to carry on with our goodwill for the rest of the year. Saupinites celebrated Diwali with great pomp and show. Munchkins of Pre-Primary, dressed up as the characters of Ramayana were looking awesome. Different competitions were organised to mark the festivities. Students of the Primary wing thoroughly enjoyed Thali Decoration and Fancy-Dress Competition. Middle Wing and Senior Wing mark the festivities with competitions like Rangoli Making, and Best out of waste. Students portrayed their acting skills by exhibiting One-act Plays from the varied themes of Ramayana like Bharat Milap, Ashok Vatika Samvad, Shabri ke ber and Kaikayi ke do var. All in one, it was a day full of fun and excitement. The program concluded with a speech by our Chief Coordinator Ms. Atul Tej Kaur and greeted ‘Happy Diwali’ to all the students on this pious occasion. She reiterated that children should celebrate pollution-free Diwali in its purest form by lighting lamps and sharing with the less fortunate.
