Saupin’s School, Panchkula has proudly won the prestigious British Council International School Award (ISA) for three consecutive years i.e. 2018–21. The school participated in a gamut of activities at international level for one year wherein 100% students’ participation was observed. The school collaborated with different schools abroad so as to give global exposure to the students. Plethora of activities were conducted with the International Schools, viz. Coober Pedy Area in Australia, Delta Gemunupura Mahavidyalaya in Sri Lanka and Syed Hedatyullah Naqshbandi in Afghanistan. The activities with the aforementioned schools were conducted through Skype sessions. Topics undertaken for study were ‘Favourite Cartoon Characters’, ‘Women Achievers’, ‘Wild Life Protection Laws’, ‘Nuclear vs. Joint Family’, ‘Alternative Medicinal Practices’, ‘Healthy Lifestyle’ and ‘The World of Stories’. Each and every student participated enthusiastically. The teachers chartered the whole programme under the guidance of the Principal, Dr. Jayeta Auddy. Two ISA Co-ordinators, Mrs. Sumati Kapila and Mrs. Poonam Kandwal completed online courses namely Introductory Core Skills and ICT to be able to charter the whole project. It is indeed a very proud moment for the teachers as well as the students and they are basking in the glory of it. The Principal congratulated all the students and teachers in a special assembly.
