Saupin’s School, Panchkula celebrated Janmashtami with zeal and enthusiasm. Inter House tableau decoration for was organised. Each tableau portrayed the birth of Lord Krishna wherein the students dressed up as various characters and enacted the whole scene of Krishna Birth which showed how Krishnaji was born in cage. This was followed by dance performances, Dahi Handi and earthen pot decorations by each of the houses. Some students dressed up as Panditji and took Gopalji around the school to bless everyone and distribute Prasad. The two best performed houses were Aspen House followed by Maple Hose. To add on to the celebration, the Bal Gopal’s and Gopis of the pre primary wing came to school decked up as Krishnaji, Radhaji, Sudama, Balram and did a role play on birth of Lord Krishna. In all, it was a colourful and exuberant celebration.
